You will be responsible for investing time and skill into developing the account team, raising awareness of Custard within the industry and nurturing exceptional relationships with clients, suppliers and the media to secure continued success for the business. /p p strong Key responsibilities: /strong /p ul li Maintaining ongoing, detailed knowledge of our clients’ businesses, personnel, operating environment and market, including frequent site visits and face-to-face meetings /li li Managing formalised client planning, monitoring and reporting both exposure and end-result bookings / revenue /li li Achieving monthly revenue targets while optimising team resource efficiencies /li li Strategic planning and day-to-day execution of PR activities and campaigns /li li Managing and optimising budgets for clients /li li Management and development of client account management team /li li Managing clients, the media, freelance staff and suppliers /li li Supporting new business proposals /li li Maintaining an excellent knowledge of the media and building relationships with key press. /li li Updating reports and updating clients regularly by phone, in person and by email when required. /li li Sourcing ideas for features, events, opinions and surveys on behalf of our clients. /li li Maintaining knowledge of trends and news in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries on a regular basis and providing information to the team during meetings. /li li Speaking at events, writing for media and representing Custard when required. /li li Assisting the CEO in identifying potential opportunities to grow the business. /li li Understanding issues management and demonstrating confidence in managing all stages of client issues. /li li Maintaining the positive reputation of the company both internally and externally. /li li Providing solutions to issues and making recommendations to improve the Custard brand and team. /li li Building a strong rapport with every team member and helping to recognise the talent and opportunities for individuals. /li /ul p strong Additional responsibilities /strong /p ul li Researching and attending events to further develop your knowledge in PR and the industry. /li li Assisting with the development of Custards’ marketing strategy and speaking at events, participating in panels and writing content for the website and industry blogs. /li li Ensuring all projects run to deadline and budget using the existing internal process. /li /ul p strong Desired Experience and Expertise /strong /p p A minimum of five years’ PR experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager or PR/Marketing Manager ideally within the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector.
