The role is a full time permanent role.Who are you?This is an exciting opportunity for a Content Operations Lead to join our Education Team and support the timely and efficient publication of all English and Theatre resources to Digital Theatre+. We’re looking for a real team player who will work collaboratively to ensure that digital content is high quality and easy to find. You will be committed to meeting the highest editorial standards, with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills to reach targets and deadlines. You should be comfortable preparing metadata, writing copy, working with the CMS, and talking with stakeholders inside and outside of the business. In this role, you will:Lead on several content discoverability projects, each looking at new and intuitive ways to surface content in the Digital Theatre+ libraryPublish excellent content informed by customer needs using a bespoke CMSSupport the Director of Content and Content Operations Manager in reaching targets and deadlines, and assist with streamlining the publishing processSource, contract, brief and manage freelance editors and designersCopyedit, proofread and format educational materialsWrite engaging copy using in-house style and prepare metadata and materials ready for publicationWork with the Technology and Product departments to optimise the presentation of content on the platform and enhance user journeysWork on licensed publishing projects, developing relationships with external partnersRepresent the publishing team within the wider business, ensuring each department has the knowledge they need to succeedYou have:Proven digital publishing experience, ideally within EdTechStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organisation and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and proofreading skillsExperience using a Content Management SystemExperience gathering market researchAlthough not essential, experience in enhancing user journeys through a website or ensuring that content is discoverable is desirableA proactive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamCompany benefitsWork-life balance: Enjoy 25 days of holiday, plus bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthdayFlexibility: We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid model of workingSupporting parents: We offer enhanced maternity and paternity leaveWellbeing: 24/7 access to an EAP wellbeing platform and counsellingSocial: Social committee that runs company-wide events, as well as quarterly team socialsOther benefits include access to training courses for personal/professional development, access to Perkbox platform and free subscription to Calm AppEqual Opportunities Employer:Digital Theatre is an equal opportunities employer.
