We are recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer / Senior Electrician. This is a full-time position that requires extensive travel throughout the UK, with potential stays abroad in the future as well.

Qualifications:
\n
\n- Relevant Electrical/Engineering apprenticeship or HNC equivalent.
\n- 18th Edition BS7671 certification.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
\n- Act as Site Supervisor for projects involving multiple engineers.
\n- Diagnose and repair electrical, pumping, and treatment faults in both commercial and domestic borehole systems, including fault-finding and rewiring.
\n- Conduct borehole pump testing, covering mechanical and electrical connections.
\n- Install borehole pumping and control systems for new domestic and commercial water supplies.
\n- Assess and order necessary parts for each job.
\n- Perform routine maintenance and testing on borehole systems, ensuring installations meet manufacturer standards.
\n- Rewire faulty electrical systems related to water pumping and treatment.
\n- Uphold high-quality workmanship that complies with company standards, private water regulations, and safety requirements.
\n- Independently identify and present faults in borehole electrical systems without direct supervision.
\n- Install electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition wiring regulations, including borehole pump power supplies.
\n- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and best practices through standards monitoring and record-keeping.
\n- Engage in both reactive and planned preventative maintenance.

Candidate Specifications:

\n- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and the public, providing professional assessments and advice.
\n- Leadership skills are necessary to effectively train and mentor pump engineers to ensure competent installation and maintenance of electrical and pumping systems for Water well projects.
\n- A full driver's license is required.
