We are seeking a�Purchase Ledger Assistant�to join our clients hands on team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including checking and processing invoices, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking emails and printing invoices
- Verifying invoices against purchase orders and weighbridge data
- Coding and processing invoices in Sage
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business
- Answering phone calls and dealing with supplier queries
- Ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a�Purchase Ledger Assistant�or in a similar finance role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Sage (training provided on their systems)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A team player with a positive attitude
