Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading waste management company in their search for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to work from their site in Wrexham.
For the successful Purchase Ledger Assistant our client is offering:


  • Salary up to £25,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 8.30 am till 5.00 pm
  • Permanent position
  • Benefits: Free parking, 20 days + Bank Holidays + Pension

The role - Purchase Ledger Assistant :


  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct coding to the ledger.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in maintaining the purchase ledger system, ensuring all data is up to date.
  • Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor accounts payable inbox and handle incoming correspondence.
  • Additional administration duties as instructed by the line manager 

What our client is looking for in a Purchase Ledger Assistant:


  • Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger/accounts payable role
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel - DESIRABLE
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail - ESSENTIAL 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Able to cope under pressure
