Company Overview:
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a large logistics company on the appointment of an�enthusiastic�Accounts Clerk�to join their�finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates with little or limited experience to develop their skills and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial data is up to date.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring all records are well-documented.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Help with the preparation for audits and assist with any financial queries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements.
- Respond in a timely manner to queries relating to sales and purchase invoices.�
Skills & Experience:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and manage deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required. Full training will be provided.
