Page Personnel are currently working with a well established events, hospitality and catering business based in East Leeds. Due to recent and successful growth, they are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk (FTC) to support their growing finance team on a fixed term basis.

Page Personnel are currently working with a well established events, hospitality and catering business based in East Leeds. Due to recent and successful growth, they are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk (FTC) to support their growing finance team on a fixed term basis.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk (FTC) include but are not limited to:

  • Processing high volumes of food and beverage invoices
  • Investigating invoices thoroughly ensuring correct suppliers are paid.
  • Speaking to suppliers and dealing with queries
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients and customers
  • Ensuring timely payments are made
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
  • Assisting Finance team with ad hoc duties

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • completed a similar role previously
  • An educational background in finance, or strong interest in the sector
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

Salary of �25,000- �28,000 offered + immediate start + fixed term contract + hybrid + free parking on site + 25 days holiday plus banks on top + great benefits!
