We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our client's finance team in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Ledger Management: Responsible for all aspects of the purchase ledger.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile purchase ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Time Management: Plan and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
• High Standards: Ensure consistently high standards of ledger maintenance for accurate reporting and decision-making.
• Supplier Payments: Raise and process payments to suppliers on time.
• Invoice Processing: Register and process incoming invoices promptly.

Experience & Skills Needed:

• Previous experience in a role that requires a high level of attention to detail, particularly in data entry or accounts-related work.
• Ability to self-manage time and workload efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a small, supportive, and friendly team environment.
• An interest in pursuing a career in accounting is desirable, your required to have some accounts experience.
• Good IT skills, including familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
• Strong ability to retain and process information accurately.
