An opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Officer to join a well known education provider based in the city centre of Cambridge on a part time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to work 28 hours per week, ideally across 5 days and within the role you will report into the Business Accountant. This role will offer hybrid working arrangements and has become available due to an internal departure.�
Within this role as Purchase Ledger Officer, you will be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Maintaining supplier accounts�
- Processing supplier payments
- Petty cash reconciliations
- Processing bank transactions
- Processing employee expenses
- Additional ad hoc duties
The successful candidate for this role will be someone with strong Purchase Ledger knowledge and experience of working within a similar level role within a finance team. You will also have strong knowledge of accountancy systems, and be competent in your IT proficiency. You will also be an excellent communicator, both on a written and verbal, and work to a high degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.�
