Purchaser - What You'll be Doing:
Day-to-day execution of local (UK) Procurement activities, specifically: Managing existing vendor relationships, Identification of new vendors, Price negotiations, Contract management
Replenishment - order placing and associated progress chasing of finished products sourced from third parties
Setting up of new Supplier accounts and maintenance of vendor pricing with the Companys ERP system.
To support the Operations and Quality functions in the investigation of supplier complaints and non-conformances; and in the measurement of the performance of key vendors.
To support the wider UK Site team structure to optimise customer service levels and ensure that it continues to meet its planned OTIF target levels.
To support the Continuous Improvement of Supply Chain activities within the local UK and wider regional organisation
