Purchasing Administrator
Our well established client are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their exciting projects team. The ideal candidate will have a tenacious, pro-active attitude, and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. This is a demanding position requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritise in dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience in purchasing ( particularly raw materials ), a background in production and manufacturing environments, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities as Purchasing Administrator

• Managing the purchasing and quality assurance administration for projects
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
• Purchasing materials to specification
• Utilising ERP/MP systems and reading material drawings

Qualifications and Experience as Purchasing Administrator

• Proven experience in purchasing
• Knowledge of working in a production and manufacturing environment
• Experience buying raw materials and working with sub-contractors
• ERP/MRP experience
• Ability to read material drawings is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Able to prioritise in a busy environment
• Proven experience as an excellent relationship builder
