Our client is looking for a Junior Purchasing Assistant to purchase items for the producion department to join their team in Gloucester

Key Responsibilities – Junior Purchasing Assistant

• Booking and checking of production data, job costing, maintaining routings/ BOMs
• Will also be required to purchase stock and stock control duties
• Order processing and expediting specifically
• Filing supplier delivery notes, purchase invoices and GRN’s (Goods Received Notes)
• Help maintain purchasing and stock control

Key Skills- Junior Purchasing Assistant

• Candidate to be outgoing and have a flexible approach and be able to work under own initiative when required.
• Must be able to work under pressure to help meet manufacturing deadlines.
• IT literate with previous knowledge of using manufacturing ERP systems – if possible, but not essential
• Must have some experience of working in a office
