Purchasing Assistant
Purchasing Assistant Key duties :
- Managing and organising freight/transport for imports into the UK. Ensuring entry information is correct ie. Tariff codes / Duty.
- Liaising with freight forwarders – General.
- Creating P.O’s on ERP system.
- Stock analysis
- Contacting all suppliers, and ensuring orders are received/departed by the expected date and ensuring back orders are completed.
- Creating all new products on ERP system
- Raising of Job Sheets
- Ensuring that all labels are ready in time for the requirements of production
- Updating/Maintaining information on products/item cards on ERP system.
- Ordering of Packaging / Stock Management of packaging for PPC warehouse.
- Liaising with PPC UK Warehouse / PPC Sales Team / Purchasing Accounts.
- Updating website with new products
Mimimum of 2 years exepeince in a similar role.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft software in particular, Excel.
