Job DescriptionThis is a lovely PURCHASING role based in Colchester in Essex! The company is a specialist business and acts as a purchasing “hub” for heavy industry and manufacturing clients across the world who are looking for specific components . The business is mega profitable and you will take orders from clients and then source technical ( ENGINEERING) products globally for dispatch. Your role is to source heavy industrial equipment and then liaise with the client , add a “ finders fee” and then liaise with the warehouse who will dispatch it . Nice and straight forward. and a stepping stone-role for someone with previous buying experience gained in a technical environment TITLE: PURCHASING SALARY: Up to £35, 000+ OTE + excellent benefits , 25 days holiday and generous performance related bonusTeam: EngineeringFlexible working: No. This is an office based role.LOCATION : Colchester in Essex ( Free car parking available)SECTOR : Purchasing hub for international clients within the manufacturing sectorHOURS: 8.30am-5pm ( office based)Contract type: Full timeCOMPANY Engineering componentsYour role is to source heavy industrial equipment and then liaise with the client , add a “ finders fee” and then liaise with the warehouse who will dispatch it.THE ROLE: You will be supporting the UK and international sales teamTake inbound enquiries from industrial manufacturing clients based globally looking for a specific piece of heavy industry or essential spare partLiaise with manufacturers and suppliers across Korea, the USA and Europe to source the productNegotiate a price and delivery schedule with the supplierAdd the finder’s fee (or margin) to the product and create a price quotation for the clientAll post sales administrationProvide an outstanding level of personal customer care at all times.REQUIREMENTSFluent English. Other languages are helpful but not essential Own transportation (car parking is available)Previous experience in purchasing
