This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as you will be working for a new subsidiary of a global company so you will get the start-up culture but with the security of being part of a larger company with a glowing reputation among its customers and employees.
As a
Python Developer
, you will work in a dynamic team at the leading edge of technology, building and maintaining full-stack solutions across multiple business areas. On the server-side you will use Python and Django and AWS. There will also be some frontend aspects on the role working with JavaScript technologies such as React, Typescript.
ABOUT THE ROLE
· You’ll play a crucial role in the backend engineering team, helping to build full-stack cloud apps.
· You will mentor a team of junior to mid-level backend engineers.
· You’ll be using AWS Cloud services with Python and its frameworks such as Django on the backend.
· Help solve the challenges that come with large-scale systems and lots of data.
· Work closely together with our Product, Data, Front-end, Platform, and security teams.
ABOUT YOU
· Solid experience as Python Developer
· Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Bottle)
. Experience with React/Typescript.
· Experience building efficient server-side applications hosted in AWS (desirable)
· Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQl
· Understanding databases and SQL
· Good understanding of development best practices such as pair programming, TDD.
