QA Test Analyst - 40k base salary, 10% annual bonus

This is an opportunity to work with a multi award winning anti-virus and security company. The testing team falls within the engineering department as the test analyst will report to the test team lead, as a result you will work closely with the engineering teams across both web, and software development in addition with the operations team to outline test cases as early as possible within the product & project life-cycles. As a result this organisation is looking to expand their testing team across the manual and automated testing department.

Role & Responsibilities

\n

• Maintaining excellent communication channels with the operations team and development teams for bug/issue identification and resolution.
\n
• Working with the Test Team to test software UI & UX across all supported platforms
\n
• Proactively and periodically testing web and software platforms for defects.
\n
• Providing regular and thorough reports on testing activities as required.
\n
• Responsible for QA of App Development deployments, with assistance from the wider test team.
\n
• Testing and signing off development tasks as required and proactively looking at areas outside of department remit where assistance is needed.
\n
• Management & maintenance of manual suites and automated testing platforms; GhostInspector, TestPad and any future systems employed.
\n
• Updating test cases and scenarios as warranted
\n
• End-to-end test failure resolution
\n
• Support on strategic projects.
\n

Skills & Qualifications

\n

\n
• External testing qualification or equivalent relevant experience
\n
• Minimum of 2 years working in a testing focussed role
\n
• Experience within eCommerce / SaaS business
\n
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
\n
• Competent in identifying and resolving issues independently
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Desire to further knowledge of key trends in technology
\n
• Strong organisational and follow up skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a high volume environment
\n
• Time and project management skills
\n
• Proactive, ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n
• Passionate and driven personality
\n
• Working with automated testing frameworks eg. Selenium (Beneficial)
