QHSE Engineer

£30,000 p/a plus excellent benefits
Our client is seeking a QHSE engineer to join the team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards within the business by conducting risk assessments, implementing safety procedures and promoting a culture of safety and quality across operations working with engineering teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards and non-conformances.
QHSE Engineer Benefits:
Salary £30,000 p/a.
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week plus travel when required.

QHSE Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor system requirements and implementation of changes of QHSE documentation as necessary.
Control commissioning of final product and other monitoring of quality requirements.
Control of scheduled equipment calibration.
Control of statutory inspections schedule.
QHSE management system auditor.
Report and monitor supplier quality concerns.
Involvement in 8D activity for customer concerns.
Involvement in NCR related activities.
Control of accident investigations, ensuring full completion and implemented QHSE improvements.
Conduct routine H&S monitoring including follow-up of issues raised.
Control risk assessment updates.
Monitor completion of emergency plan tests.
Manage QHSE inductions.
QHSE Engineer Qualifications and Skills required:
Knowledge of management system standards ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001.
NEBOSH qualification preferable.
Experience of health & safety monitoring and management systems essential.
Good communication skills.
Use of Microsoft tools - Word, Excel, etc
