Job Description: QlikView Developer Location: Belfast, Hybrid Working (2 days a week in office) Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum plus bonus and market leading benefits package About Our Client Our Client is a pioneering company in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability through cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights. Their Belfast team is at the forefront of transforming energy data into actionable intelligence, and they are looking for a talented QlikView Developer to join them. Role Overview As a QlikView Developer, you will play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and optimising QlikView applications that support Our Client's business operations and strategic decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data visualisation and analysis, contributing to their mission of advancing renewable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and Maintain QlikView Applications: Design, develop, and maintain QlikView applications to meet business requirements. Data Analysis and Visualisation: Create compelling and interactive data visualisations that provide insights into business performance and support decision-making. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into QlikView solutions. Optimise Performance: Ensure the optimal performance of QlikView applications through effective data modeling, script optimisation, and efficient use of QlikView functionalities. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and integrity. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to existing QlikView applications. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of QlikView applications, including design, development, and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QlikView Developer, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Technical Skills: Proficient in QlikView development, including scripting, data modeling, and visualisation. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases. Familiarity with Qlik Sense and other BI tools is a plus. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
