We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a Social Housing background�to join our team.�Degree qualified�preferred but not essential. Duties consist of:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for social housing projects based on agreed schedules of rates.


• Manage tendering process, including preparing documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.


• Track project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure work aligns with budget and schedules.


• Prepare interim valuations and verify contractor claims for payments based on completed work.


• Monitor costs and ensure compliance with agreed schedules of rates, identifying potential discrepancies.


• Manage contract variations and ensure proper costing for changes in scope or additional works.


• Resolve disputes between contractors and clients regarding payments, variations, or delays.


• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.


• Ensure health & safety compliance on-site and consider associated costs in budgeting.


• Prepare final accounts and reconcile all payments to close the project and evaluate financial outcomes.
