With state-of-the-art facilities, including a CBCT scanner, Trios scanner and microscope, we are able to offer Dental excellence to our existing, new and referred patients. br We have a large, free onsite carpark and changing rooms with shower facilities available for the team. br With 11 surgeries, 2 of which are dedicated to Hygiene, as well as offering general dentistry, we are able to offer our patients onsite a Specialist Orthodontist, a Specialist Periodontist, a DWSi in Endodontics, implants, IV and inhalation sedation, Invisalign, and a complete smile makeover. br Now who wouldn’t want to work in a practice like this! It needs to be seen, to be never forgotten. br Specialisms we offer: br Endodontics br Implants br Periodontics br Sedation br Key responsibilities & duties: br Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including implant surgery br Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment following HTM guidance and protocols br Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment br Set-up and prepare the surgery for the type of patient and treatment planned br Clean and sterilise all equipment and working surfaces to the required standards at the end of each session br Ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste br Maintain the radiograph processing unit br Provide clinical assistance under the supervision of the Dentist/Specialist br Continually evaluate the needs of patients and specialist and deal with them promptly and efficiently br Assist the Dentist/Specialist in the completion of patient records br Monitor and maintain stocks as necessary and liaise with the stock nurse regarding any shortages of materials br Ensure that all necessary laboratory work is returned and ready for each session br Follow all practice policies and procedures and patient confidentiality br Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental team br Take reasonable care for own and others’ health and safety br Comply with all HTM-01-05, GDC and CQC requirements. br Undertake CPD in line with GDC guidelines br Work experience and skills: br The ability to keep calm and work methodically. br A caring and sympathetic nature br Exceptional listening skills and a calm, empathetic approach to patients, team members and clinicians to help build rapport. br A smart appearance and professional attitude br An ability to work under pressure in a busy team environment br Motivated, friendly, flexible, punctual and organised. br Qualification in Dental Nursing – NEBDN or NVQ 3 br Dental Nurse Registration with the General Dental Council br Post qualification experience. br IT literate, knowledge of the SOE practice management system would be an advantage. br Company benefits: br Competitive salary br Company pension scheme br GDC and indemnity paid br Core CPD organised by the practice br Perk-box membership- employee discount scheme br Extra day off for Birthday br Support of a well-established friendly team br Annual cost of living wage increase br Employee of the month rewards br Social events including summer and Christmas parties br Free onsite parking br _We are looking forward to hearing from you!_ br IND002 br Job Type: Full-time br Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour br Benefits: br Company events br Free parking br Experience: br Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred) br Licence/Certification: br Valid GDC registration (preferred) br Work Location: In person
