Qualified Electrician
Due to growth, our client SGE Services is looking to hire a fully qualified electrician on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Skills: Technical
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2
AM2 Qualification
Latest Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
ECS Card is preferable but not essential.
Clean UK driving licence.

Good fault-finding skills, including troubleshooting, and solving problems.
Good paperwork and documentation skills
Keen eye for detail
Have a presentable appearance, and a positive attitude.

Good customer services skills, dealing with residents needs.
Preferred Skills:
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills to suit our business model supported by a combination of in-house and external training.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
A good working knowledge of mobile device technology
First aid & asbestos trained
Role & Responsibilities:
Working on various properties, site commercial and residential
Carrying our remedial repairs, if necessary, along with undertaking maintenance and refurbishment works
Electrical installation (refurb and repairs) in-line with current regulations and legislations
Diagnostic work to include fault-finding and repair/maintain electrical installation.
Processing relevant documentation and making sure systems are completed in a timely fashion.
Inspecting and testing within existing installations, recording results with the completion of appropriate test certificates
Managing and adhering to the standards set out by the business to include, policies, codes of practice, safe systems to work and recognised industrial standards for work carried out.
The list of duties is not exhaustive and are an indication of some of the responsibilities the successful candidates will be expected to carry out.
