We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within an Adults Early Support (AEST) Team in the Greater Manchester area. The role will be front door based, as the service is the first point of contact in Adult Social Care, for adults experiencing a range of situations.

The role is office based - part time 4 days/28 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake case work, the AEST duty function, daily meetings with GMP to triage welfare concerns and provide advice to AEST Early Support Coordinators
• Able to ensure that all work is carried out in line with the appropriate legislation, (Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act 1998) guidelines, policies and procedures.

To be considered for the Social Worker role:

• 2 years experience of working within a similar adult setting
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Registration with Social Work England
• Sound knowledge and experience in Safeguarding Adults
