If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Children's Social Worker to join Leicestershire County Council - Assessment Team. This is a full-time role offering Up to £38/hr

Overview:

• Candidates must be 3yrs+ qualified with assessment experience.
• Undertake assessments of children and families to identify needs, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement care plans and interventions to promote child welfare and safeguard children at risk of harm.
• Collaborate with multi-agency professionals, including health services, schools, and external organisations, to deliver effective support.
• Manage a complex caseload, ensuring that cases are reviewed and actioned in a timely and thorough manner.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, relevant legislation (such as the Children Act 1989 and 2004), and best practice guidelines.
• Provide advice and support to families to empower them to take positive steps to improve their circumstances and promote the welfare of their children.
• Maintain accurate records, complete assessments, and prepare reports to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
