Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council'sSafeguarding team as a Business Manager for their Safeguarding Children's Partnership (LSCP). This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £400 per day.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the delivery and operation of safeguarding arrangements within statutory responsibilities to multi-agency partners across Liverpool, including the strategic business planning process and overseeing of the LSCP Strategic board and sub-groups.
  • Assisting Chairs of the board efficiently writing reports, procedures, guidance and providing public information.
  • Will confidently advise LSCP members on Safeguarding policy issues and assertively make recommendations for decision-making in respect of the LSCP's budget, duties, priorities and future direction.
  • Collate and analyse data, quality assurance and performance management with regards to producing reports around rapid reviews and local safeguarding practice reviews and assist the process of serious case reviews.
  • Excellent communication skills are paramount.
  • Have extensive strategic knowledge within a safeguarding setting, managing staff in a multi-agency environment. Will have experience of co-ordinating and chairing multi-disciplinary meetings and developing and writing policies and procedures, performance management and quality assurance.

Requirements:


  • SWE registered
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
