A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a CAMHS Practitioner to join a supportive and dynamic team in the Oldham, Manchester area. Responsibilities:


  • Promote mental and emotional well-being for children, young people, and families through effective clinical interventions.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, including self-harm risk assessments, and provide therapeutic treatment.
  • Prevent serious mental health issues through early identification, decision-making, and appropriate referrals.
  • Manage a caseload, attending team meetings and case reviews regularly.

To be considered for the CAMHS practitioner role, ideally you will have:


  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A diploma/degree in social work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven experience in managing a caseload effectively.
