Qualified Social Worker - Children's Services

Are you a qualified Social worker with experience in Adoption & Fostering? Are you passionate about safeguarding children and protecting their wellbeing?

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker who will have a strong commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for protected children and who are ready to join a fast paced team and hit the ground running. This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and offers a competitive rate ranging from £28 - £35 per hour.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Adoption experience
• Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary
• Member of the PVG scheme

Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

• Completion of PAR/Adoption assessments
• Attend relevant multi agency meetings such as LAC reviews
• Representing the organisation at internal and external meetings
• Family Finding, linking & Matching
• Producing reports to be shared with multi-agencies
• Training delivery in both Group and Individual settings
• Undertaking project work as and when required
