Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Locality Team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £40 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• You will be screening referrals speaking to families and professionals to make a decision if the family requires social care involvement.
• We want children and families to have one social worker so that they can build a positive relationship and do not have to keep retelling their story.
• We are looking for social workers with a range of experience, who love relational practice and who can work restoratively with children and families to achieve good outcomes.
• The main aspect of this role will be child in need and child protection work.
• We do not usually allocated looked after children to agency social workers in case people leave and this disrupts relationships and support for our children.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
