Qualified Social Worker

If so, Randstad is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Duty and Assessment Team. This full-time role offers a fantastic pay rate of £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 Team Manager, 2 Advanced Practitioners, and 4 Social Workers.
• Serve on duty one week every five weeks, conducting assessments to evaluate risk and determine children's needs.
• Regularly visit children, engaging them to understand their circumstances.
• Coordinate and chair CIN and strategy meetings, ensuring timely creation of working plans to reduce risk and provide early support.
• Adhere to timescales for child visits and assessment completions.
• Work in a supportive team environment with manageable caseloads.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS

Experience:

• Children's Social Work
