Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Tameside Council's Children with Disabilities Team. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Support disabled children and their families.
• Work alongside colleagues from multi-disciplinary professions who are also passionate about delivering the best possible services for disabled children.
• Within this role, you will have the opportunity to be creative in the delivery of support to families using a range of interventions and be integral to the ongoing development of services for children and young people with additional needs.
• Undertake effective assessments of need in an innovative way with the ability to co-ordinate the provision of the appropriate services.
• Your caseload will range from Child in Need to Looked After Children where you may be working with a child until they reach 18 years of age.
• Support our care leavers and support young people and families to transition to adult services.
• Work in very close partnership with other services and professionals to support our families.
• We care about our children, young people and their families and embrace a strengths-based, partnership approach to providing support and relationship-based social work.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
• Social Work England registered
