About the Role

Simply Education is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to work within secondary schools across Medway. This role is ideal for an experienced therapist looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to create tailored intervention plans that help students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication difficulties in secondary school students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in line with EHCPs.
• Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to support student progress.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to improve communication skills.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to annual reviews.
• Deliver training and advice to school staff to support communication-friendly classrooms.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience working with secondary-age students in an education or clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
• Ability to develop engaging, student-focused therapy plans.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
