Salary: £31,350 - £46,179 per annum (M1 - UPS2 Fringe)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We partner with a well-regarded school in Tadworth, Surrey, that supports students with SEN and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, particularly those with Autism. They're on the lookout for enthusiastic and qualified SEN Teachers to join their dedicated team.
This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching to students aged 8-16, focusing on developing their communication and social skills. The school is part of a wider network of educational institutions, allowing for collaboration while maintaining unique teams at each site. Support is provided by a full therapy team, and there is potential for staff and students to work across different campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating on curriculum design to meet students' educational and social needs.
- Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of educators and specialists.
- Developing and implementing lesson plans and learning targets.
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress.
- Participating in reviews of students' Statements, EHC plans, and PEPs.
- Designing engaging lessons to inspire and challenge.
- Staying updated on autism-related best practices to enhance teaching approaches.
- Supporting students' individual needs in a non-confrontational, inclusive manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Capability to teach up to GCSE level.
- Prior experience working with ASD, SEMH, and PDA students.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.
- Experience managing a range of behaviours, including challenging ones.
