Job Description:
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our team in Small Heath. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching French language and culture, along with a commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive French lessons that cater to students' varying abilities and learning styles.
Create engaging instructional materials and resources to support language acquisition and cultural understanding.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated to participate and take risks in their language learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in French language and/or education.
Strong proficiency in the French language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Previous experience teaching French at the secondary level preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current pedagogical practices and methodologies in language teaching.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
