The Schools and Role

I am currently working with multiple Wirral Primary schools who are looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated intervention and SEND teams within school from September.   As a vital part of their team, you will help shape the future of our young learners.  
We have a mix of full-time and part-time roles that span across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.  We are seeking adaptable individuals with varied experience who can help promote positive behaviour and assist in achieving learning objectives.

In these roles, you will:

• Support the class teacher in promoting positive behaviour and understanding learning objectives.
• Monitor student progress reports.
• Maintain consistent support and communication for individual children, including updated support plans.
• Undertake additional responsibilities around the school as needed.

Requirements

Essential for these Teaching Assistant roles:

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• At least 6 months of reference-able experience working in a primary setting.

Desirable:

• Experience supporting children with SEND, either in mainstream or SEN settings.
• Experience with small group intervention groups across KS1 and KS2.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
