The role gives the opportunity to gain experiences and development within the technical & quality department within a prestigious food supplier and distributor.

Tasks:
* Understanding and decision making of product quality and food safety
* Support the administration of due diligence by taking responsibility for supplier records
* Supporting the supply base by engaging in ethical, sustainability and quality requirements and documenting actions and development.
* Internal reporting for both customers and suppliers dealing with all stakeholders
* Support on internal audits
* Attendance at customer facing meetings to support wider team
* Assist in leading supplier relationships, KPIs and development
* Help manage customers specifications and communication to all relevant parties where appropriate, including management of our customers databases as required
* Help lead as a product specialist and support new product development

Skills:
* Applicants must have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate with good knowledge of Excel.
* Applicants with a full, clean driving license preferred.
* Applicants will be supported in development and growth in the business with relevant training provided
* Food safety certificate or knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous
