Quality Assurance Manager - Pensions Specialist / Investment Management

Miryco Consultants are working with a leading Pensions Specialist/Investment Manager to resource a Quality Assurance Manager to join their credible and high performing customer experience function.You will manage the firm’s internal quality assurance framework and create an ongoing monitoring programme to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of external processes. This role would best fit someone with retail conduct experience and subject matter expertise on best practice in developing a QA and continuous improvement framework.Responsibilities:Build up knowledge of the firm and their external network and create an all-encompassing and flexible QA framework to assess if processes are working efficiently and resulting in good customer outcomes.Maintain knowledge of operational standards, legal and regulatory obligations, making sure these are met.Coordinate with external network to maintain an active audit programme, ensuring corrective actions are fed-back to the team.Ensure that all policies, processes and audit findings are properly documented.Work closely with second and third line assurance functions and train junior members of the team to support with QA reviews.Experience:Demonstratable practical experience of managing QA within the financial services sector.Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.Retail conduct experience, with particular focus on consumer outcomes and customer vulnerability.Analytical, problem-solving skills, and relationship building skills, this includes expertise in consulting and advising internal stakeholders and external networks.Knowledge of pensions industry and third-party risk management is desirable but not mandatory.Location: LondonSalary: ££ Dependent on ExperienceShould you not be contacted within five working days of submitting your application, then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted for the opportunity.
