Job Description
Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are exclusively partnered with the UK's largest structural steel manufacturer, with a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a their team in Bolton.
Reporting into the sites senior engineering team, the Quality Manager will be responsible for improving the Quality culture throughout the business, as well as;
Management of QA and QC Inspection personnel,
Experience of
Welding/Fabrication
or Heavy Industries is essential
Work in accordance with the Group Quality Management System, that ensures the delivery of a Quality product and in compliance with quality standards.
Compliance with client’s specifications around inspection, quality records and sourcing of materials.
You will be expected to work with the Quality team, conduct investigation of non-conformances and identify opportunities for improvement through a continuous improvement approach. You will need to compile quality documentation in compliance with the required codes and customer specification, liaising with customer representatives when required.
You will also be required to externally audit requirements for subcontractor work, write and implement project specific inspection testing, and you will be required to do C works on site.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background or engineering, welding, or welding inspector related experience. You will also need to have understand quality systems and have auditing experience.
