Quality Assurance Technician

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our established client's technical team in Ayr!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

\n

Pay rate: £12.10 per hour

\n

Working as a Quality Assurance Technician:

\n

\n
• Conducting hourly checks of despatch, labels, metal detection CCP, temperature and product quality checks
\n
• Logging daily DNA samples
\n
• Following a testing schedule with regards to samples that are sent to the lab
\n
• Conducting start-up checks and calibration of probes and scales
\n

\n

What we need from you:

\n

\n
• Previous experience in quality assurance processes (essential)
\n
• Experience in meat manufacturing (preferable, but not essential)
\n
• Excellent communication skills
\n
• The ability to work to targets and deadlines
\n
• Strong attention to detail
\n
