Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: West Hull
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Range: �24,000 - �25,000 per annum
Join our clients team as a Quality Assurance Technician! We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about quality and engineering excellence. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our clients products meet the highest standards before they reach their valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspection checks on incoming products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards, including mechanical parts, electrical components, and finished goods.
- Maintain adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) throughout all quality-related activities.
- Control and update QA/QC/HSE documentation for products and processes effectively.
- Assist in the management of calibration, maintenance, and HSE reporting for the site.
- Perform final inspections and verify all delivery paperwork and QA/QC/HSE documents prior to customer despatch.
- Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances using 8D techniques to ensure closure of issues.

- Knowledge of Quality methods and tools such as 8D problem-solving is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate facts.
- Some HSE knowledge is a plus (IOSH certification).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with quality tools (8D, 5 Why, etc.) and experience with CMM/manual measuring equipment.
- Competent in Excel, Word, and SAP for documentation and reporting purposes.
