Thrive Shepton are actively looking to recruit a Quality Assurance to start immediately for our prestigious client near Warminster, Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Document and report any quality issues or non-conformances, working with production teams to resolve them.
Perform regular audits of production areas and equipment to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
Collaborate with production staff to improve quality and efficiency.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the food production industry.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (Apply online only)

Hourly Rate:

Starting rate £13.00 per hour, potential to increase after training
