The Purpose

Perform Quality Control checks on incoming goods and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, disposition incoming materials in accordance with procedures, and assist the QA Managers with daily quality assurance tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate

• Experience in a Quality Control role within the FMCG sector.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and solve problems.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when needed.

The Role

• Confirm the identity and condition of incoming materials.
• Sample and test incoming materials according to the Raw Material Specification.
• Disposition incoming materials and ensure that all are status-labelled
• Update the supplier data base
• Maintain Quality Control files
• Disposition and status-label off-line printed components
• Disposition and status-label materials returned from production
• Status-label non-conforming materials
• Where applicable, perform periodic retesting of materials and disposition
• Test and record the test results of finished products according to the finished product specification
• Monitor Environmental Monitoring Programme, take samples in accordance with defined frequence
• Provide administration activity for the maintenance of the database used for the recording of completed jobs released by Quality and for the safe storage and retention of all Job Envelopes to facilitate recall, if necessary
