Job Description: 



Promoting the QA departmental reporting systems, ensuring that they are effective and map to the current objectives of the business and highlighting negative trends or areas of concern to the SHEQ Manager.



Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer)



Identify root cause and investigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues



Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards



Carry out product and process auditing



Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained



Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators including scrap monitoring, rework levels, parts per million (PPM) figures



Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001)



Promoting and upholding company performance standards and policies.



Quality management, ensuring a pro-active approach to quality using data and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



Participating in business improvement activities.



Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality



Contribute to continuous improvement activities



Support and lead process improvement activities



Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients



Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends



Plan projects or subtasks so they may be tracked and presented



Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions



Produce written reports and make presentations



Undertake continuous training and development



Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems



Independently determine approach and assigned task



Responsible for closure of supplier, internal & customer NC’s in a timely manner.



Supporting the Quality Inspectors with inspection activities.





Skills and Requirements: 



Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001



Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) Documentation Packs (DOC), First Article inspection (FAI).



Possess a broad background in APQP processes / manufacturing with a wide range of knowledge on manufacturing and production processes, preferably fabrication and machining related.



Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering & technical drawings.



Have a working understanding of procurement & ERP



Exercise substantial initiative/judgement in work methods and interpreting goals



Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of divisional management
