A leading specialist civil engineering contractor based in Wales are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Quality Engineer will play a key part in the development and future works of the business, reporting directly to the Project Director & Head of Quality.

About the role of Quality Engineer

This regional contractor traditionally specialises in heavy civils & infrastructure projects, across the UK traditionally projects include highways, rail, tunnelling, telecoms and industrial units valuing up to �500M. On a nationwide basis for private and framework clients. The role of the Quality Engineer will assist with the operational team and be based on site in Wales.

Responsibilities for Quality Engineer

• Overseeing and managing the quality systems from conception to completion
• Providing relevant system training as and when necessary
• Tracking and monitoring quality issues and providing solutions where necessary
• Regularly carrying out site inspections and tests

Requirements for Quality Engineer

• Previous experience using A-site is essential
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO standards
• Former Civil Engineering experience is mandatory
