Quality Engineer

Position: Quality Engineer (Aerospace)
Location: Deeside
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client a global leader in the aerospace and defence industry are on the hunt for a Quality Engineer to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you will be responsible for all quality engineering activities in support of the ongoing production programs throughout the business.

Other responsibilities include:

• Develop a solid understanding of specific Quality requirements to ensure that all Customer expectations are met at all times
• Conduct Quality audits in support of the ongoing Quality audit program as required
• Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation supporting specific products
• Plan, lead and execute Quality investigations as required using RRCA, 8D and other techniques to effectively analyse problem root cause and prevent recurrence.

Experience or Qualifications –

• Sufficient experience within a quality engineering environment specifically Aerospace Quality
• AS9100 Internal Auditing experience
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experince of developing key relationships internally and externally to achieve quality necessary for the customer
