Quality Inspector

SF Recruitment have partnered with a leading Manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.
Salary: up to £25,000
Full time hours
Responsibilities will include:
- Inspects and approves incoming goods by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
- Rework goods where necessary and meet required completion deadlines.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work, and inputs data into quality database.
- Reports issues to suppliers and records their performance.
- Maintenance of calibration equipment.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following required standards and procedures.
Requirements /Skills
- Experience as quality inspector or relevant role preferred.
- Good knowledge in blueprint reading.
- Good knowledge in computer skills and use of basic tools like Excel, Word etc,.
- Familiar with manual gauges likes of vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge etc,.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
