Shifts: 24/6 Pattern- Days and Nights

Job Description: 

• Verify component compliance at all production stages within the business.


• Offer first article inspection support as needed.


• Identify recurring quality issues, communicating these to the Quality Engineering team along with improvement recommendations.


• Assist in the 5Y quality process and support root cause analysis for product failures.


• Manage non-conformities by internal company procedures.


• Represent the quality function in team meetings.


• Foster and enhance relationships with quality contacts within our customer base.


• Support and promote improvement activities that directly enhance our products and manufacturing processes.


• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to assist in business development, growth, and improvement projects as needed.


• Support, maintain, and improve the company's quality management system and participate in internal audits when requested.

Skills & Experience:

• Experienced in an engineering background


• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications


• Technical knowledge & experience within the aerospace sector preferred


• Competent in using the following equipment; verniers, micrometres, bore micrometers, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators)


• Experience of operating CMM machines (PCDMIS desirable) 


• Provide 1st Article Inspection Reports


• Knowledge of ISO9001 Management Systems (AS9100 desirbale)
