QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Zenith People are currently working with a global manufacturing business based in the North-East. They are looking for an experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join their team.

The purpose of this position is to further development Quality management Systems certificated to IATF16949:#####. Develop a program of audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and conduct internal audits to plan

DAY SHIFT

WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR

The role responsibilities:

• Maintain and further develop the existing Quality Management System to ensure it satisfies the needs of the business.


• Work with Corporate QMS teams to develop group level processes and documentation aligned to certificated standards and industry best practice.


• Co-ordinate and facilitate customer audit and third-party audits (such as certification and surveillance audits).


• Internal audit schedule planning - system/process/product audits across multiple production sites.


• Carry out internal system/process/product audits across multiple production sites.


• Monitor NCR and OFI status including supporting auditee with corrective action/improvement plans.


• Supervise QMS technicians.


• Mentoring and delivery of Quality Management System training as required.

The person we’re looking for:

• HNC or equivalent in related Quality Assurance/Systems/engineering or science subject.


• Lead Auditor certification and experience preferred - IATF16949 / VDA6.3 or other certificated/regulated standards


• Extensive experience of Quality Management System - IATF 16949#####6 / ISO900#####15 / VDA6#####023 or other certificated management systems - system implementation, development and maintenance experience


• Internal systems audit - experience of planning, conducting, monitoring.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Microsoft Office experience
