MTrecs prestigious precision engineering client, based in Cramlington, are looking to recruit a permanent Quality Manager to their growing team. You will be joining a successful company, who are looking to strengthen their team even further by bringing in a Quality Manager. You would be reporting to the General Manager and would Develop, implement, and manage processes as well as Oversea and manage the QMS to name a few. The Job Youll Do:
Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required customers specifications for quality.
Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
Review customer feedback on quality concerns, recommending and facilitating solutions to the issues, via 8D, Ishikawa etc.
Oversea and manage the QMS, (Quality Management System)
Continuous improvement in quality processes.
Supplier management / subcon
Ensure CSR (customer specific requirements) are being met.
Direct contact for all customers non-conformances
Manage quality KPIs
Ensure ongoing compliance to ISO9001 and IATF 16949 automotive standards.
Manage the internal and external audit schedule, maintaining compliance with VDA 6.3 methodology and framework.
Collate scrap data and report the cost of poor quality via the monthly report
Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team and other appropriate members of staff.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
