Quality Manager

Our client is a growing Chemical Manufacturer with strong expansion plans and some exciting new products being developed for a range of sectors.
We have a Permanent opportunity to join the business as a Quality Manager.
What your weekly duties will look like:

• Quality Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed and readily available. Maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

• Non-Conformity Resolution: Address non-conformities within the QMS efficiently. Implement corrective and preventive actions, and resolve quality issues from customer or supplier complaints, production, and QC testing.

• System Maintenance: Oversee regular management reviews, internal audits, and maintain the Company Quality Manual and system registration.

• Data Management: Organize and prepare data for non-conformance reviews and monitor QMS objectives. Develop new quality systems and update existing ones as needed.

• Customer and Supplier Liaison: Work with customers and suppliers on quality matters, and ensure departmental managers adhere to performance standards.

• Reporting: Complete quality meetings and reports on an annual, quarterly, and weekly basis. Report incidents to management using appropriate systems.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Quality Manager working to ISO 9001
• Experience within Manufacturing environments, preferably Chemicals or similar
• Excellent Root Cause Investigation skills
• Strong communication & leadership skills
  

Location - Wigan
Salary - �40k - �45k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - Full Time - 8am -4pm (Mon-Fri)
Benefits - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + BUPA healthcare + Pension (5% EE / 3% ER), on-site gym.
