Our client is a well established chemical manufacturing company

Description

To ensure highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency and performance across site. This role combines elements of quality assurances and process safety management as well as overseeing site Integrated Management system, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and leading initiatives to enhance operational performance.

� Process Safety Management

o Lead Hazard Reviews and Basis of Safety o Coach and Develop Process and Process Safety Engineers o Improve Process Safey Standards and Processes o Implement strategies to improve the overall performance in safety audits and inspections o Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of the Process Safety management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices

� Quality Management System:

o Develop, implement, and maintain a robust site quality management system (QMS) aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

o Conduct regular audits and reviews of the Site QMS to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

o Oversee the investigation and resolution of quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

o Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

� Continuous Improvement:

o Champion a culture of continuous improvement, fostering a mindset of innovation and problem-solving throughout the organization.

o Lead and participate in improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other relevant methodologies.

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

o Facilitate problem-solving workshops and root cause analysis to address operational challenges.

o Implement Shop Floor Management

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in process safety management, quality management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, that must be in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • You must have top tier COMAH experience in a process safety and quality focused role.
  • Excellent people development and leadership skills

Job Offer

�80,000 to �90,000 plus bonus and benefits
