A well-established manufacturer with cutting-edge technology in Bradford in looking for a Quality Technician to help and support the Quality and Compliance function with its objective. This is a varied Quality Technician role and you will join a company focused on sustainability, bespoke customer solutions and fast delivery.
Key responsibilities as a Quality Technician:
- Support investigations into QSHE issues and analyse data.
- Manage non-conforming products, ensuring corrective actions are documented.
- Perform quality, hygiene, and compliance checks, including audits and inspections.
- Prepare and organize documentation and records for Quality
- Coordinate induction and compliance training, maintaining updated records.
- Liaise with suppliers for assessments and approval documentation.
- Provide administrative support during third-party audits and inspections.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects.
- Maintain and supply data for customer reporting.
- Analyse waste and environmental data for improvement initiatives
- Deputize for the Manager when required.
Experience & Qualities as a Quality Technician
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in Quality or compliance within Manufacturing
They should have a good knowledge of the principles of Quality, understand key Quality methods and have an awareness of HSE standards and values.
Desirable skills:
- Internal Auditor 9001:2015 or BRCGS
- IOSH / NEBOSH General
- Understanding of food and hygiene standards
